My Dearest Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Created by Guilty Crown, the composition My Dearest demonstrates notable craftsmanship within the popular pop sheet music repertoire. Encompassing 156 measures over 8 engraved pages, the work is collated from standard contemporary studio engravings. Authority databases register this work as `mbid-ddaec3a1-pianistforum` and ISWC `T-DDA.EC3.A1-1`. Historical archives note that "My Dearest" was composed by ryo of supercell and performed by Koeda as the opening theme for the 2011 anime Guilty Crown. The song became one of the franchise's signature musical .

Cast in 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), the score delivers a steady common-time pulse providing natural rhythmic symmetry across four quarter-note subdivisions. At ♩ = 132 BPM (*Allegro con brio*), the musical progression remains brisk with sparkling rhythmic excitement. Pedagogical directive: subdivide internally with relaxed forearm weight to prevent metric stiffness across bar lines.

The foundational pitch center is E Major (four sharps (F♯, C♯, G♯, D♯)). Here, E serves as the primary resting point, while modulations into C-sharp Minor and dominant tensions in B Major shape the emotional contour. Tonal construction prioritizes diatonic primary chords, balancing A Major warmth against dominant B Major tension. Keyboardists will find that E Major creates a comfortable keyboard geometry where four black keys support curved finger posture naturally.

Graded at the Advanced level (conservatory diploma level (ABRSM/RCM Grade 8 or Associate)), the score fosters disciplined keyboard ergonomics. The primary technical hurdle involves refining subtle dynamic voicing across dense chords, executing octave cascades, and preventing hand cramping. When negotiating broken arpeggio figures and modern pulse chords, ensure the singing melody stays dynamically elevated over the accompaniment. Acoustically, refresh damper pedal depth synchronously with bass root changes. Practice Focus: block intricate passage work into chord clusters to cement muscle memory before speeding up. Score pointer: Maintain a lyrical cantabile melody while keeping the broken-chord accompaniment even and transparent. In climactic sections, build intensity through arm weight.

• ✨Repertoire Setting: Recommended for informal recitals, private studio practice, and collaborative accompaniment, the piece fits versatile programming needs.
• ✨Practical Transposition: Beyond the primary engraving in E Major, collaborative accompanists can adapt the key: lower voices (alto/bass) benefit from transposing into D Major, while high voices gain projection in F-sharp Major. Ensembles may utilize B Major for brass fingerings.
