Framed in E-flat Major, the score establishes E♭ through a key signature featuring three flats (B♭, E♭, A♭). Harmonic variety is enriched through dialogue with the relative minor/major (C Minor) alongside strong cadential support from B-flat Major. Harmonically, the progression E → flat → G → Am → F → Dm concludes with a questioning dominant pivot that commands forward continuation. Under the fingers, E-flat Major features a deeply expressive layout that encourages an open, tension-free hand arch on rolling chord figures.

Assigned an overall Easy rating (foundation study curriculum (RCM Level 1–2)), the composition exercises manual independence. The central obstacle centers on balancing quiet accompaniment figures beneath a clearly audible melodic statement. In performing flowing keyboard arpeggios that support emotional melodic peaks, keep finger knuckles rounded and poised. For acoustic hygiene, refresh damper pedal depth synchronously with bass root changes. Technical Drill: shadow-play the accompanimental chords silently while sounding the melodic line out loud.

In 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), rhythmic continuity is shaped by an authoritative quadruple framework where downbeat accents anchor the overarching phrase architecture. The reference performance speed is ♩ = 106 BPM (*Tempo di marcia*), yielding a spirited with crisp finger articulation tempo profile. From a phrasing standpoint, channel energy through the middle beats toward subsequent downbeats to preserve continuous phrasing arcs.
