Eric Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Anchored in B-flat Major, this work utilizes a key signature of two flats (B♭, E♭). The composer builds structural coherence around B♭, deploying the relative pole (G Minor) to introduce tonal contrast before resolving through F Major. Harmonically, the progression B → flat → G → Am → F → Dm rests on a half-cadential dominant harmony that builds musical anticipation. Pianistically, the key produces a noble tonal landscape that supports relaxed arm weight across its two flat accidentals.

Rooted in the modern pop keyboard selections, Eric stands as a representative work by Evertrine Curcent. The publication presents 3 pages totaling 61 notation measures, cross-checked against verified performance editions and modern engravings. Digital music repositories index this composition under ISWC `T-409.F2A.B1-1`.

Organized under a 4/4 time signature, the music exhibits a simple quadruple meter with 4 beats per measure. At ♩ = 117 BPM (Allegretto), the pacing unfolds in a manner described as moderately brisk, bright, and buoyant. A core performance guideline: listen for the overarching four-bar hypermeter to keep phrases singing rather than measure-bound.

Positioned within the Intermediate repertoire (intermediate benchmark (ABRSM/RCM Grade 4–6)), this work offers valuable training in balance and tone. Performers must concentrate on coordinating independent dynamic levels between hands while maintaining steady metric propulsion. Navigating broken arpeggio figures and modern pulse chords asks for deliberate finger weight distribution. To preserve clarity, coordinate pedaling with chord changes to maintain acoustic warmth. Practice Focus: record your practice with emphasis on listening for crisp pedal releases on each harmonic pivot.

Curatorial Repertoire Role: The work serves as a reliable selection for community music performances and versatile studio accompaniment.

Tessitura & Key Transposition: The default key of B-flat Major suits standard instrumental ranges. Vocalists seeking a lower tessitura can transpose down to A-flat Major, while high-register singers modulate up to C Major. B♭ brass transpose to C Major.

Licensing Information: Organized for studio learning under `unknown`, supporting keyboard technique drills and performance prep.
