All This Time Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Cast in 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), the score delivers a well-proportioned metric pulse alternating primary and secondary stresses across the measure. At ♩ = 124 BPM (*Animato*), the musical progression remains cheerful with buoyant rhythmic bounce. Pedagogical directive: avoid pounding downbeats mechanically; keep the line buoyant through intermediate pulses.

Graded at the Advanced level (advanced concert artist standard (ABRSM Diploma / ARCT syllabus)), the score fosters disciplined keyboard ergonomics. The primary technical hurdle involves controlling multi-voiced polyphony, executing wide octave reaches without tension, and sustaining velocity. When negotiating cinematic rolling bass sweeps and sustained chord foundations, ensure the singing melody stays dynamically elevated over the accompaniment. Acoustically, execute full pedal clears at dynamic changes to highlight intimate moments. Practice Recommendation: isolate the polyphonic layers by singing one voice aloud while playing remaining lines pianissimo. Score pointer: Keep the driving eighth-note pulse energetic and consistent while articulating syncopated accompaniment patterns cleanly. Bring out the lyrical melody with cont.

Originating within the popular rock sheet music repertoire, All This Time by Sting exemplifies structural economy and melodic clarity. Spanning 10 pages and 192 measures, its source material derives from standard contemporary studio engravings. Catalog registries document the score under identifier `mbid-2905e22b-pianistforum` with ISWC `T-290.5E2.2B-1`. Historical archives note that Released in 1991 as the lead single from The Soul Cages, All This Time reflected Sting's personal response to the loss of his father. The song blended introspective songwriting wit.

Tonal grounding is defined by D Major, marked in the score by two sharps (F♯, C♯). The music alternates stability on D with expressive harmonic excursions toward B Minor and its parallel relation, D Minor. Harmonically, the musical line relies on fundamental triad relationships (G Major and A Major) around the tonic root. For the performer, this layout is characterized by a balanced keyboard profile naturally accommodating the central three fingers on the raised black key steps.

When programming this selection, music educators frequently schedule All This Time for community music performances and versatile studio accompaniment. The default key of D Major suits standard instrumental ranges. Vocalists seeking a lower tessitura can transpose down to C Major, while high-register singers modulate up to E Major. B♭ brass transpose to E Major. From an attribution perspective: Prepared as a reference study edition under `unknown_needs_review` standards for non-commercial pedagogical exploration.
