Graded at the Advanced level (advanced concert artist standard (ABRSM Diploma / ARCT syllabus)), the score fosters disciplined keyboard ergonomics. The primary technical hurdle involves mastering nuanced rubato, synchronizing rapid arpeggiated passage work, and maintaining tonal polish under speed. When negotiating cinematic rolling bass sweeps and sustained chord foundations, ensure the singing melody stays dynamically elevated over the accompaniment. Acoustically, refresh damper pedal depth synchronously with bass root changes. Recommended Exercise: isolate the polyphonic layers by singing one voice aloud while playing remaining lines pianissimo. Score pointer: Keep the broken-chord accompaniment exceptionally even while projecting the melody with a legato singing tone. Use deep listening for balance between hands, add.

Framed in A-flat Major, the score establishes A♭ through a key signature featuring four flats (B♭, E♭, A♭, D♭). Harmonic variety is enriched through dialogue with the relative minor/major (F Minor) alongside strong cadential support from E-flat Major. Voice leading proceeds primarily through diatonic harmonic motion involving tonic, subdominant, and dominant degrees. From a tactile perspective, navigating this key delivers a luxurious keyboard geometry that minimizes finger travel between inner harmonies and melodic leaps.

When programming this selection, music educators frequently schedule All Of Me for contemporary vocal accompaniment, student recitals, and studio recordings. When adjusting the native tonality of A-flat Major, accompanists can shift down a step to F-sharp Major for lower voice types or lift the melody into B-flat Major for tenors and sopranos. Woodwinds read comfortably using E-flat Major.
