Aerith's Theme Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Metric propulsion relies on 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), giving the piece a balanced metric groundwork providing grounded stability with primary weight on beat one and secondary stress on beat three. Set to a metronome speed of ♩ = 124 BPM (*Allegretto*), the overall character feels moderately brisk, bright, and buoyant. Pianists should ensure that they avoid pounding downbeats mechanically; keep the line buoyant through intermediate pulses.

The score Aerith's Theme, composed by Nobuo Uematsu, reflects the stylistic idioms of the popular video-games sheet music repertoire. This edition contains 86 measures formatted across 4 pages, corroborated through standard contemporary studio engravings. Worldwide rights catalogs anchor this title under ISWC code `T-C94.106.36-1`.

Targeted at Intermediate players (intermediate study curriculum (RCM Level 5–6)), this score presents rewarding interpretive and tactile hurdles. Attention should center on projecting the cantabile soprano melody while suppressing inner accompaniment voices. Accompaniment passages containing flowing keyboard arpeggios that support emotional melodic peaks require subdued dynamics to spotlight the melody. Mechanically, feather the pedal to sustain bass notes without drowning upper textures. Practice Recommendation: record your practice with emphasis on listening for crisp pedal releases on each harmonic pivot.

The foundational pitch center is G Minor (two flats (B♭, E♭, with F♯ harmonic seventh)). Here, G serves as the primary resting point, while modulations into B-flat Major and dominant tensions in D Major shape the emotional contour. Harmonically, the progression Gm → Dm → G → C → F → E7 moves through balanced harmonic transitions (F, E7) reinforcing the tonal root. Pianistically, the key produces Mozart's signature palette of tragic restlessness, asking for crisp articulation and disciplined finger independence.

When programming this selection, music educators frequently schedule Aerith's Theme for contemporary vocal accompaniment, student recitals, and studio recordings. The default key of G Minor suits standard instrumental ranges. Vocalists seeking a lower tessitura can transpose down to F Minor, while high-register singers modulate up to A Minor. B♭ brass transpose to A Minor. From an attribution perspective: Prepared as a reference study edition under `unknown` standards for non-commercial pedagogical exploration.
